About Art Village Nursery
Art Village Nursery is a nursery in Dubai inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. It is part of a nursery group known as Amadeus.
The Reggio Emilia approach comes from Italy and sees children as capable, curious learners. It encourages exploration, creativity, collaboration and expression through many "languages", such as art, music and play.
Classrooms are designed as inspiring environments, often called the "third teacher", with natural materials and spaces for discovery.
Teachers observe and document children's interests and build projects around them, rather than following a fixed curriculum.
The approach has grown in popularity among parents in Dubai who want a creative, child-led early education.
Nurseries in Dubai are licensed and regulated by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority.
