About Fitwell Sports
Fitwell Sports does far more than sell gym equipment. Founded in Dubai in 2010, the company designs and builds complete sports, fitness and leisure facilities on a turnkey basis, working with schools, hotels, clubs, contractors and private homeowners. Its motto is "Play together... Fit well".
Sports facilities are the core of its work. Fitwell supplies and installs playing surfaces such as acrylic, rubber, artificial grass and modular tiles for tennis, basketball, football, volleyball, handball, hockey, rugby and multipurpose courts, and says these meet the standards of international federations such as FIFA, ITF and FIBA. It also provides sports lighting, stadium and retractable seating, wooden and vinyl sports floors, and court equipment, some of which it fabricates locally to save time and cost.
The fitness division equips gyms from the floor up, including heavy-weight areas, aerobics studios, boxing rings and martial arts spaces, and supplies outdoor fitness stations for parks, schools and residential communities. Gym maintenance and equipment repair are part of the service.
On the leisure side, Fitwell installs children's playgrounds with safety surfacing, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis and plunge pools, climbing walls, lockers and changing cubicles, and wet-area flooring.
Its portfolio shows the range of clients it serves: school football pitches and basketball courts in Dubai, a city club in Dibba, and tennis and football courts at private farmhouses in Al Dhaid and Al Khawaneej. The company uses CAD-based designs and offers yearly maintenance contracts after handover.
With a team of six to ten people managing projects and skilled installers on site, Fitwell Sports is one of the specialist sports facility builders listed on Startups UAE.
