About Global Logistics
Global Logistics is a logistics company based in Dubai World Central (DWC), with roots going back to 1985 and a team of 201 to 500 people.
Logistics companies of this size typically offer freight forwarding by air, sea and road, customs clearance, warehousing, distribution and project cargo handling.
Being based in Dubai World Central, also known as Dubai South, places the company near Al Maktoum International Airport and within easy reach of Jebel Ali Port. The area was developed as a logistics hub, allowing goods to move efficiently between sea and air.
Sea-air shipments, in which cargo arrives by sea at Jebel Ali and continues by air from Al Maktoum, take advantage of this location to combine lower costs with faster delivery.
Project logistics, which involves moving large or heavy equipment for construction and energy projects, requires specialist planning and equipment.
Clients include manufacturers, retailers, traders and project contractors who need reliable movement of goods across the region and worldwide.
Clients comparing logistics providers usually look at network coverage, reliability, tracking, customs expertise and rates.
Startups UAE lists Global Logistics among the logistics companies operating from Dubai South.
