About Masafi
Masafi is one of the best-known brands in the UAE. Founded in 1977, the company takes its name from the town of Masafi, located in the mountains between Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah, where natural springs are found.
Its main product is bottled mineral water, sold in many sizes from small bottles to large gallons for home and office dispensers. Masafi water has been a household name in the UAE for decades.
The company has expanded into other products, including juices and tissue paper, under the Masafi brand.
Home and office water delivery is an important part of the business, with customers ordering large bottles for water dispensers.
The bottled water market in the UAE is large, since many residents prefer bottled water for drinking, and competition includes local and international brands.
Sustainability concerns about plastic use have encouraged companies to explore recycled materials and refillable options.
