About Dubai Production City
Dubai Production City is a business district for media production, printing, publishing and packaging companies. It was originally launched as the International Media Production Zone (IMPZ) and later renamed. It is part of TECOM Group.
The district hosts printing presses, publishers, packaging manufacturers and companies involved in producing media and marketing materials.
It also includes residential and commercial areas, with apartment buildings and retail, making it a mixed community where people live and work.
Printing and packaging are important industries for a trading hub like Dubai, supplying businesses with marketing materials, product packaging and publications.
The shift to digital media has changed the printing industry, with many companies diversifying into packaging, labels and digital printing.
The district is located near Dubai Motor City and Dubai Sports City, with access to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.
Its residential towers offer relatively affordable apartments, attracting residents who work in nearby districts such as Motor City, Sports City and Al Barsha South.
