About Dubai World Trade Centre

Dubai World Trade Centre, known as DWTC, is the city's main venue for exhibitions, conferences and events. Its original tower, Sheikh Rashid Tower, opened in 1979 and was one of Dubai's first high-rise buildings.

The exhibition centre hosts some of the world's largest trade shows, including GITEX Global for technology, Gulfood for food and beverage, Arab Health for healthcare and many others across different industries.

DWTC also organises many of these events itself, managing their content, exhibitors and visitors.

The complex includes exhibition halls, conference rooms, the Za'abeel Hall and office towers. It also operates as a free zone, licensing companies in sectors such as events, virtual assets and technology.

Business events are a major part of Dubai's economy, bringing visitors who fill hotels, restaurants and shops.

Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai adds additional capacity for large events.
